Wanderlust Wednesday: Sunny Day at Palouse Falls, Washington

Need to escape? Looking to be whisked away? Itching for travel inspiration?

Look no further than Palouse Falls in southeast Washington State. Located on the Palouse River upstream of the confluence with the Snake River, visiting Palouse Falls is an isolated exercise. Few people venture through this part of the state, which means people who seek out places like Palouse Falls often have the destination entirely to themselves.

Thank you for reminding me once again that the Pacific Northwest is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have not yet visited Palouse Falls, Washington, but it’s now on my list of places I should see. Multnomah Falls in Oregon is also a beautiful destination, especially if you’re up for a good hike.
